Reminder of important changes to Free School Meals payments

Parents and guardians of children entitled to Free School Meals are being reminded of important upcoming changes to the way the meals are paid.

The current system of vouchers redeemable at Tesco stores is valid up to and including Friday 1st May.

But from Monday 4th May, your Free School Meal entitlement will be paid by bank transfer, for the two weeks up to Friday 15th May.

The rate is £3.90 per day, per child.

For the Council to pay this money, we must have your bank account details.

All those entitled to Free School Meals should have received a letter from us about the changes.

It is very important that you give us your bank details as soon as you can, as we will not be able to get the money to you without them.

If you haven’t had a letter from us, or you need another one, please email fsmpayments@pembrokeshire.gov.uk, or telephone 01437 775250 as soon as possible.

Please ensure ALL details on the form, including National Insurance number, are completed before returning.
