We are a group of parents, grandparents, church parishioners and teaching staff who meet four to five times a year for an hour or so after school to collectively discuss ideas about how to raise funds that will benefit all the children of our school. We then put these ideas into practice.
Over the last two to three years alone, due to fundraising events such as Bingo, Christmas/Summer Fetes and raffles held at school concerts, we have raised enough funds for the following:-
> Waterproof clothing for the Foundation Phase
> Reading and handwriting scheme
> Junior library scheme
> Play buddies shed
> Happy Puzzle Company
> Harry Owen, Olympian
> Playground Funding
> Buses for pantomimes
> Bike Shed
> And much, much more
We would love new members to join us. It’s very informative and everyone is very welcome (including the children). Any help you can give towards this group would be greatly appreciated by the school your child attends. The more people who are able to help the quicker the jobs are done.
